The Microline S7029 is a genuine replacement filter housing sump designed specifically for Microline reverse osmosis (RO) and water filtration systems. This sump is the lower canister portion of the filter housing that holds the replaceable sediment or carbon filter cartridge. It is compatible with Microline RO systems that utilize standard 10-inch filter cartridges, ensuring a secure, leak-free seal when paired with the matching housing cap.

The Microline S7029 filter housing sump is engineered to accommodate standard 10-inch x 2.5-inch filter cartridges. It is constructed from durable, food-grade polypropylene designed to withstand typical RO system operating pressures. The sump features standard threading compatible with Microline housing caps, making it a direct OEM replacement for worn, cracked, or damaged sumps in existing Microline filtration setups.

Unlike filter cartridges that require scheduled replacement, the Microline S7029 sump is a durable housing component that typically does not need routine replacement. It should be replaced only if you notice cracks, leaks, warping, or difficulty achieving a proper seal with the housing cap. However, we recommend inspecting the sump every 6–12 months when changing your filter cartridges, and replacing the O-ring during each cartridge change to maintain a watertight seal.

The Microline S7029 is sold as the sump (housing canister) only. It does not include a replacement filter cartridge or O-ring. If your O-ring is worn or you need a new filter cartridge, you will need to purchase those separately. Always lubricate the O-ring with food-grade silicone grease before reinstalling the sump to ensure a proper seal and prevent leaks.

To install the Microline S7029, first shut off the water supply to your RO or filtration system and relieve system pressure by opening the dispensing faucet. Unscrew the old sump from the housing cap using a filter housing wrench if needed. Transfer or install a fresh filter cartridge into the new S7029 sump, ensure the O-ring is properly seated and lubricated, then thread the new sump onto the cap—hand-tightening plus a quarter turn with a wrench. Restore water supply slowly and check for leaks before returning the system to normal operation.
