The Hydronix CB-45-1010 is a cost effective carbon block filter, manufactured with coconut shell activated carbon. If you are looking to reduce chlorine in your water, as well as sediment, VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and carbon fines, this is the filter for you! You can even use this product on a variety of applications such as food service, residential, industrial, and commercial. Keep in mind this product is designed for point-of-use and reverse osmosis applications. This CB series carbon filter has the capability of replacing GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) and PAC (Powdered Activated Carbon) filters. Typically you see these types of filters in areas with high chlorine contamination. Instructions

  1. After installation, flush the cartridge by running water through the system
  2. Dump the first 2-3 gallons of water before using the water for drinking or cooking purposes
  3. Do not use the filter with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system
