Installation Instructions:
  1. Twist the old filter a half-turn counterclockwise, but do not pull down on the cartridge while twisting
  2. Pull the filter straight down and discard (don't worry, the water will shut off automatically)
  3. Fill the new filter with water (you can use the cold water faucet on your kitchen sink)
  4. Push the new filter gently up into the fridge until it stops
  5. Twist the filter a half-turn clockwise (until it stops)
  6. Dispense 1 or 2 gallons of water from the dispenser to clear the system and prevent sputtering
  7. Reset your 'change filter' light
Resetting your filter change indicator light:
  • Refrigerators with LCD screens: Press the 'Filter Replaced' button
  • Refrigerators without LCD screens: Press and hold the 'Reset Filter' button on the dispenser for 3 seconds
  • Filter Life: 6 months or 300 gallons (whichever comes first)
  • Flow Rate: 0.9 gallons per minute
  • Operating Pressure: 20 - 120 psi
  • Operating Temperature: 33 - 100 degrees Fahrenheit
