The OmniFilter RS6 Grouped package includes OmniFilter RS6 replacement sediment cartridges designed for whole house filtration systems. These pleated cellulose cartridges are engineered to fit standard 10-inch OmniFilter housings and similar compatible whole house units, providing reliable sediment reduction for your entire home's water supply.

The OmniFilter RS6 has a 30-micron rating, making it ideal for capturing larger sediment particles such as sand, silt, rust flakes, and scale. Its pleated design increases the surface area, allowing for improved dirt-holding capacity and extended filter life compared to standard spun or melt-blown sediment filters.

The OmniFilter RS6 should be replaced every 3 months or after approximately 15,000 gallons of use, whichever comes first. Households with heavily sedimented well water or high water usage may need to replace the cartridge more frequently. Monitoring pressure drop across the housing is a good indicator that replacement time is near.

The OmniFilter RS6 is tested to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 materials requirements and is designed specifically for mechanical sediment reduction. It reduces dirt, sand, silt, rust particles, and suspended solids from incoming water, helping protect downstream plumbing, appliances, and point-of-use filters. It does not reduce chlorine, taste, or odor—pair it with a carbon filter for those concerns.

The OmniFilter RS6 is compatible with OmniFilter whole house housing models including the OB1, OB3, OB5, U25, U30, and RO2000 series, as well as most standard 9-3/4" x 2-1/2" filter housings from other manufacturers. Always verify your housing dimensions before installation to ensure a proper fit and seal.
