The 650652 H+ Viqua Professional Plus UltraViolet Water Disinfection System reduces a wide range of microbial contaminants including protozoan cysts, bacteria, and viruses. Ultraviolet sterilization exposes water to a controlled rate of UV light waves, deactivating microorganisms. Once the microorganisms are deactivated, they can no longer reproduce in your water supply. For optimal performance, replace the UV bulb every 9-12 months and clean the quartz sleeve every 3 months.
