This fine micron rating allows it to reduce cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia, along with fine sediment, chlorine taste and odor, while still maintaining a high flow rate compared to other sub-micron carbon blocks. Its 10-inch standard size fits most compatible housings with 2.5" outer diameter.

The Pentek FloPlus-10 (part number 155265-43) is tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for chlorine taste and odor reduction and NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for cyst reduction (Cryptosporidium and Giardia). It also reduces sediment, dirt, rust, and particulates, delivering cleaner, better-tasting water for residential and commercial point-of-use applications.

The Pentek FloPlus-10 has a rated service life of 1,500 gallons or approximately 6 months, whichever comes first. Actual life depends on incoming water quality and usage. For best performance, replace the cartridge every 6 months even if the gallon capacity has not been reached, as carbon media can lose effectiveness over time once exposed to water.

The Pentek FloPlus-10 delivers a service flow rate of up to 3 gallons per minute (GPM), making it one of the higher-flow 0.5 micron carbon blocks available. It operates within a temperature range of 40°F to 100°F (4.4°C to 37.8°C) and a maximum pressure of 125 psi. Its dimensions are 9.75" length x 2.88" outer diameter, fitting standard 10" Big Blue-style and slim-line housings designed for 2.5" cartridges.

The Pentek FloPlus-10 is compatible with most standard 10-inch filter housings that accept a 2.5" diameter cartridge, including Pentek Slim Line 10, 3G Slim Line 10, and other standard 10" housings from compatible manufacturers. It is ideal for whole-house pre-filtration, under-sink drinking water systems, and commercial foodservice applications where cyst and chlorine reduction are required at higher flow rates.
