Instructions

Drop your CYA Remover Pouch in the skimmer basket.
Adjust your pH, if necessary, so that it falls in the 7.2 - 7.6 range.
Stop using any chlorine with stabilizer. Switch to bleach or shock while using the CYA Remover filter.
Run your pump 24 hours/day, or as much as possible (It's all about contact time with this filter!) with a flow of at least 4-6 gpm (average flow rate of a garden hose, for comparison)
Use CYA test strips that test as high as 250 - 300 ppm, such as LaMotte, Aqua-Check, or Taylor. Check your CYA levels once a week. Your CYA levels should come down at the rate of 10-20 ppm/week on average, depending on pool conditions.
When the pool reaches your desired CYA level, simply toss the bag in the garbage.

The CYA remover pouch works by adsorbing the CYA out of the water as it filters through the pouch.
