IHS12-D4 Viqua Home Plus UltraViolet Water Disinfection System - with LEAD reduction

The IHS12-D4 Viqua UV Disinfection System provides sediment pre-filtration, activated carbon pre-treatment and UV sterilization for point-of-entry or whole-home water filtration applications. The IHS12-D4 system replaces the SC320-DWS12 and SCM320-DWS12 systems. Once installed, this system gets to work at removing bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms, in addition to reducing sediment, chlorine taste and odor, this system also reduced Lead. This system is easy to install because it is shipped mounted on a heavy-duty, steel bracket along with the first set of filters. The first two stages of water treatment involves 5-micron reduction of both sediment and chlorine taste/odor. Finally, in the last phase, water undergoes UV disinfection where the DNA of the microorganisms is deactivated which makes them unable to reproduce. All three stages come together to produce clean-tasting water in your home that is virtually free of harmful contaminants like Cryptosporidium, Cysts, and Giardia. This system includes other features like visual indicator for lamp life and lamp replacement without the need to turn off the water supply.
