US Water Filters (USWF) whole-house cartridges come in four sizes: 10 x 2.5, 10 x 4.5, 20 x 2.5 and 20 x 4.5 inches. They cover three main jobs: sediment (1 to 50 micron), chlorine taste and odor (coconut carbon block) and chloramine (catalytic carbon).

Common questions
Which USWF cartridge do I need for sediment, chlorine or chloramine?
For sediment, choose a USWF melt-blown, string-wound or pleated polyester cartridge. For chlorine taste and odor, choose a coconut carbon block cartridge. For chloramine, choose a catalytic carbon cartridge, the USWF media listed for chloramine.
What sizes do USWF cartridges come in?

Melt-blown vs string-wound vs pleated: what's the difference?
Melt-blown, string-wound and pleated polyester are three ways USWF builds its sediment cartridges. All three capture sediment. Pleated polyester folds its media for extra surface area. Each product title lists that cartridge's micron rating.
