The Tier1 IN-WF0190 is a coconut shell activated carbon inline water filter designed for use with refrigerators, ice makers, RVs, and under-sink water lines. Its compact inline design with 1/4" quick-connect fittings makes it easy to install on standard 1/4" water supply lines, providing cleaner, better-tasting water and ice without requiring a dedicated filtration system.

The Tier1 IN-WF0190 uses high-quality coconut shell activated carbon media to effectively reduce chlorine taste and odor, sediment, rust particles, and other common impurities found in municipal tap water. Coconut carbon is preferred for its superior adsorption capacity and natural, renewable sourcing, delivering noticeably fresher water and ice for your appliances.

The Tier1 IN-WF0190 features a 5-micron filtration rating, which captures fine sediment and particulates while allowing optimal water flow. This inline filter has a service life of approximately 1,500 gallons or 6 months, whichever comes first. For households with high water usage or poor water quality, more frequent replacement may be required to maintain peak performance.

The Tier1 IN-WF0190 measures approximately 2" in diameter by 10" in length and is equipped with 1/4" quick-connect push-in fittings for tool-free installation. It operates at a flow rate of up to 0.5 GPM, with a working pressure range of 20–125 PSI and a temperature range of 35°F–100°F, making it ideal for cold water applications like refrigerators and ice makers.

To install the IN-WF0190, shut off the cold water supply, cut your 1/4" water line, and push each end firmly into the quick-connect fittings, observing the directional flow arrow on the filter housing. After installation, turn on the water and flush approximately 2–3 gallons through the filter to remove harmless carbon fines and air pockets. Once flushed, your Tier1 IN-WF0190 will deliver clean, crisp-tasting water at full filtration efficiency.
