- Pour entire bottle (16 ounces) directly into the brine well, if equipped
- If your softener does not have a brine well, then pour the water softener cleanser directly into the salt tank when the salt is low
- Manually engage the regeneration cycle
- If odor or discoloration is present following the initial regeneration cycle, open the cold water faucet closest to the water softener
- Allow water to run until it tastes, smells, and appears as desired
- Use Tier1 water softener cleanser every four months
- Store in a cool and dry location. Do not reuse the container

NOTE: Following application, it is necessary to immediately regenerate your system. Water Softener Treatment
Your water softener should be treated approximately every four months to ensure that it is functioning at its best performance. Treating your softener with a cleanser like the WS-CLNSR-16 by Tier1 helps prevent and reduce existing mineral build-ups, extending the life of your system and enhancing its performance. This 16 oz bottle is applied directly to the brine well. It is necessary to immediately regenerate your system after application. If smells and visible differences appear after application, run water at the nearest faucet to the system until normal behavior returns.
