Tier1 OR-LUBRICANT-LG Food-Grade Silicone O-Ring Lubricant (Molykote) helps to provide a good seal and to prevent water leaks on all brands of water filter housing o-rings, in addition to preserving the integrity of your o-ring. You can reuse your o-ring as long as it is not damaged. Silicone Lubricant is safe and easy to use. Other types of lubricants are not recommended for o-rings, because they can actually stretch and distort them. Silicone Lubricant can be used for a variety of applications, such as cameras, scuba gear, and pressure valves. Provides a chemical barrier coating, with low volatility, good resistance to most chemicals, excellent resistance to water, and low vapor pressure.

Instructions
- First, wipe your old O-Ring clean
- Then wipe the groove in the filter housing clean
- Finally, apply enough lubricant on the O-Ring to give it a gloss
- The ORing is ready to place back in the housing
- If the O-Ring is bent, crimped, or showing signs of wear, you should replace the o-ring
