Built from a carbon block rather than loose granular carbon, this cartridge delivers higher chloramine reduction capacity while also capturing sediment. Its carbon block construction significantly cuts down on the carbon fines that many granular carbon canisters release into treated water. The Pentek ChlorPlus10 is rated at a nominal 1 micron for chloramine reduction.
