The Crystal Pro GP63N is a whole-house corrosion control and sequestrant system designed to protect your plumbing, fixtures, and appliances from the damaging effects of hard water, iron, and corrosive water conditions. It uses a food-grade polyphosphate/silicate blend that sequesters dissolved minerals like calcium, magnesium, and iron, preventing them from forming scale buildup or staining surfaces. The GP63N also helps neutralize aggressive, low-pH water that can corrode copper and galvanized pipes, extending the life of your entire water system.

The Crystal Pro GP63N is rated for approximately 100,000 gallons or up to 12 months of service life, depending on your household water usage and incoming water quality. Homes with higher iron content, harder water, or greater daily consumption may need to replace the sequestrant media sooner. Regular inspection of the clear housing allows you to visually monitor the polyphosphate crystal level and replace the media before it fully depletes.

The Crystal Pro GP63N features 1-inch inlet/outlet ports and supports flow rates suitable for whole-house applications, typically up to 15 GPM. It operates within a pressure range of 25–100 PSI and handles water temperatures between 40°F and 100°F. The system comes with a clear sump housing for easy visual monitoring of the sequestrant crystals and includes a mounting bracket for straightforward installation on main water lines.

The Crystal Pro GP63N does not physically remove iron from your water—instead, it sequesters dissolved (ferrous) iron up to approximately 1.5 ppm, keeping it in solution so it cannot oxidize and create the rust-colored stains typical on sinks, tubs, laundry, and fixtures. For water with iron levels higher than 1.5 ppm or containing oxidized (ferric) iron, a dedicated iron filter should be installed upstream of the GP63N for optimal results.

To service the Crystal Pro GP63N, shut off the main water supply and depressurize the system by opening a downstream faucet. Unscrew the clear housing using the provided wrench, discard any remaining depleted crystals, and rinse the housing. Refill with fresh Crystal Pro polyphosphate/silicate sequestrant media up to the fill line, lubricate the O-ring with food-grade silicone grease, and reinstall the housing hand-tight plus a quarter turn. Restore water pressure slowly and check for leaks before returning the system to full service.
