Instructions
Instructions- Unscrew the end of your tap and screw the diverter valve nozzle to the end. (additional thread adapters may be required)
- Open the housing, remove bag and instructions and screw in the filter element
- Turn the housing upside down over the sink. Switch the valve lever to the ON position.
- Turn the tap on slowly to allow water to completely fill the housing and pass through the filter. Once full, turn the housing back to its original position and run your filtered water freely for a minimum of 10 minutes.
- Turn the valve lever OFF and leave the filter to stand unused for 24 hours. Note: You can still use your tap for unfiltered water.
- After 24 hours turn the valve and tap ON, run filtered water to waste for a further 10 minutes.
- The filter is now ready for use.
- Servicing the Ceramic filter: Wash hands before and after servicing the ceramic filter. Turn the tap off, hold the filter upside down over the sink, unscrew the filter body. Unscrew the ceramic candle and clean evenly with an abrasive kitchen pad under running water or in a bowl. Keep the threaded mount stem away from water to avoid contamination.
- Cleaning the housing: Wipe externally with a warm damp cloth. DO NOT USE strong chemicals such as bleach, sterilising fluids, descalents or alkaline chemicals.
