The Omnipure K2333-JJ is a granular activated carbon (GAC) inline filter designed for use in refrigerators, ice makers, reverse osmosis systems, and point-of-use water dispensers. It features 1/4" quick-connect (JJ) push-in fittings on both ends for fast, tool-free installation. The K2333-JJ reduces chlorine taste and odor, delivering cleaner, fresher-tasting water and ice.

The Omnipure K2333-JJ has a nominal 20-micron rating and is rated for a capacity of up to 1,500 gallons or 12 months of service life, whichever comes first. Its coconut shell GAC media is effective at reducing chlorine, taste, and odor throughout the filter's lifespan when operated within the recommended flow rate of 0.5 GPM.

The Omnipure K2333-JJ measures approximately 2" in diameter by 10" in length (including fittings). It operates at a pressure range of 10–125 psi and a temperature range of 40°F–100°F (4°C–38°C). The polypropylene housing is sealed and constructed for long-lasting, leak-free performance, and the 1/4" JJ quick-connect fittings make it compatible with most standard 1/4" water lines.

Omnipure recommends replacing the K2333-JJ every 12 months or after 1,500 gallons of use, whichever comes first. If you notice reduced water flow, returning chlorine taste, or odors in your water or ice, replace the filter sooner. Regular replacement ensures consistent chlorine, taste, and odor reduction from your refrigerator, ice maker, or RO post-filtration system.

Omnipure manufactures the K2333-JJ in an NSF-registered facility, and its components are tested to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material safety and chlorine taste and odor reduction. Installation is straightforward: shut off the water supply, press the 1/4" tubing into the JJ quick-connect fittings, ensuring the arrow on the filter points in the direction of water flow. Turn the water back on, check for leaks, and flush 2–3 gallons through the filter before use to remove carbon fines.
