This is a 2-stage big blue filter system that comes with premium made in America filters, a 10" 50 micron pleated sediment filter and a large capacity 10" 5 micron meltblown sediment filter.
The Stage 1 Pleated Polyester sediment filter is designed to capture large sediment like coarse sand, pebbles, and other debris rust from the water. The pleated filter can removed, rinsed, and reused multiple times, making this perfect for applications with heavy sediment loads. The stage 2 100% polypropylene melt blown sediment filter has 4 layers of filtration to capture smaller sediment like fine sand, dirt, and silt to protect your home and appliances. Both filters are made from materials to be suitable for use on untreated well water and make a perfect pair for water with a heavy sediment load.
This low maintenance system comes pre-assembled on the mounting bracket and connects easily to plumbing with 3/4" NPT fittings. The large capacity filters that last up to 3-4 months, and filter changes are quick and easy with built in pressure release valves. Simply unscrew the filter housing, drop in new cartridge, and screw the housing back on.
