Product Details

We designed the 3M™ Whole House Scale Inhibition Water Treatment System AP43SS to reduce scale build-up on hot water-using appliances such as water heaters (standard and tank-less), clothes washers, and dishwashing machines, and on plumbing fixtures like faucets, pipes, and showerheads. The AP43SS provides an unrestricted flow of up to 1 GPM with ¾” NPT inlet/outlet connections. Our custom bundle pairs the traditional system with an extra scale inhibitor filter.

How Does Scale Inhibiting Filtration Work?

The AP431 contains polyphosphates, which help to inhibit scale build-up in hot water heaters (both standard (gas or electric) and tank-less styles) and boilers

The 3M Aqua-Pure AP430 hot water system cartridge needs to be replaced every 3-6 months with 3M Aqua-Pure AP431 replacement water filter. The cartridge may need to be replaced sooner depending on your water quality and your water usage
