The Eco Series Whole House Water Softener Alternative (Salt Free Softener) utilizes the latest in salt-free softening technology to provide an easy to maintain, high-performance system. The Eco Series uses Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC) technology to soften water. This type of filtration does not require a brine tank, expensive replacement salt, or a control valve and does not produce backwash waste. Instead of removing calcium and magnesium from the water like traditional softeners, it changes them from their ionic form to a harmless crystalline form. In this state, they are stable and will not attach to pipes and appliances. Reducing scale build-up is important as it can otherwise wear on your pipes and water-using appliances to cause inefficiencies and even early equipment failure. Since the media is preloaded into the tank and there is no need for electrical valve programming, this system is easy to install and operate, very little to no maintenance is required. Enjoy the benefits of soft filtered water and order your Eco Series Tier1 Whole House Salt-Free Water Softener System today!

Usage of the salt-free conditioning system on private well water must meet the following requirements:

A pre-treatment system for Iron, Manganese, Copper, and Sulfur must be installed prior to the salt-free conditioner unless a professional water analysis shows that the raw well water meets the following chemistry requirements: Iron less than 0.3 mg/L, Manganese less than 0.05 mg/L, copper less than 1.3 mg/L.

Tier1 Eco Series Water Softener Alternative

The Tier1 water softener alternative is ideal for reducing sediments and scale while preventing damage to your home's piping appliances. This system is engineered with Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC), an innovative and more environmentally friendly technology. Unlike salt-based systems, this system does not remove beneficial minerals from your water or release excessive levels of salt into the water.

NSF/ANSI 61 Certified TAC Media

  • Salt-free systems reduce the buildup of limescale by altering the chemical structure of water minerals to prevent solids from depositing in pipes, appliances and on fixtures.
  • Salt-free systems operate without salt, thus there is no backwash phase of the regeneration cycle as with traditional water softeners.
  • The backwash phase releases a high concentration of chloride salt, which is a concern for many. In fact, some localities do not allow traditional softeners, making the scale inhibiting system ideal for consumers living in those areas.
  • Tested and certified to NSF/ANSI 61 for health effects.
