Common questions
What MERV is Filtrete 1500?
The Filtrete 1500 is MERV 12. 3M rates Filtrete filters on its own MPR scale, and its conversion chart places MPR 1500 at MERV 12, between MERV 11 and MERV 13 on the industry scale.
Can I use a 14x20x1 instead of a 14x18x1?
No, buy the exact size printed on your current filter. A 14x20x1 and a 14x18x1 are different sizes, so a 14x20x1 may not fit a slot made for a 14x18x1 filter.
