Common questions

Can I use a 16x25x1 instead of a 16x24x1?

Buy the exact size printed on your current filter rather than substituting a 16x25x1. A filter of the wrong size may not fit the slot, or it may leave gaps around its edges. If your old filter says 16x25x1, shop our 16x25x1 air filters instead.

Filtrete 1500 is MERV 12, based on 3M's MPR-to-MERV conversion chart. MPR is 3M's own rating for Filtrete filters, while MERV is the industry-wide scale that lets you compare filters across brands.
