Instructions
Instructions- Note: Filter must be pushed firmly into receiver and turned until filter is locked in place. If filter is not locked correctly, water will not flow.
- Shut off the main water supply valve to the refrigerator
- Remove old filter by turning a quarter turn counter-clockwise, then pull old filter straight out.
- Remove cartridge grille cap by sliding it off the end of the old cartridge, then slide it onto the new filter.
- With new cartridge cap in the vertical position, insert the new filter into the base grille.
- Rotate the cap clockwise a quarter turn until it is horizontal.
- Turn on the main water supply valve to the refrigerator.
- Flush new filter for 1 1/2 gallons (approximately 3 minutes) and discard the ice production of the first 24 hours after switching on the icemaker.
- On models with replacement indicator light, press and hold the RESET WATER FILTER PAD on the dispenser for three seconds.
