Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection treats water with light instead of chemicals. As water flows past a UV lamp, bacteria, viruses, and cysts are neutralized so they can't reproduce, without changing the taste, smell, or chemistry of your water. It's a common choice for private wells and any home where microbial safety is a concern. UV doesn't remove chlorine, sediment, or dissolved contaminants, though, which is why it's usually paired with a sediment or carbon filter.
This collection covers complete Viqua whole-house UV systems ($578–$980) along with the replacement parts that keep them running: UV lamps, quartz sleeves, controllers, and flow restrictors.
Viqua lamps and sleeves are made for specific system series, such as the VH200, VH410, S320, and S740, and they don't cross over between models. Match the model number printed on your current lamp or sleeve, or on your system's model plate (for example, VH410 or S740RL), then choose the part listed for that series.
