5" MERV13 Air Filters
These Tier1 MERV 13 media filters come in 20x20x5 and 20x25x5, sold in 2-packs, and replace the Lennox X0585 and X0586. They match the size of the Lennox originals. Lennox's own X0585 is MERV 11, so the Tier1 version filters one step finer.
Is MERV 13 right for your system?
The EPA recommends using at least MERV 13 if your system can accommodate it. A MERV 13 filter captures at least 50% of particles from 0.3 to 1 micron and at least 85% from 1 to 3 microns. If your system needs a lower rating, see our 5-inch MERV 11 filters or 5-inch MERV 8 filters.

Is MERV 13 too high for a home system?
MERV 13 is the level the EPA recommends for homes when the system can handle it. Check your HVAC manual or ask your technician before switching.
Which Lennox cabinet uses 20x20x5 or 20x25x5?
The Lennox X0585 (20x20x5) fits Healthy Climate HCC08-21 and HCC14-23 cabinets. For the 20x25x5 X0586, check the label or manual for your cabinet, since Lennox has superseded that part.
