5" MERV8 Air Filters

These Tier1 5-inch MERV 8 media filters, sold in 2-packs, are compatible replacements for the Trane BAYFTAH26M (21x26x5) and for 20x20x5 filters from Lennox (X0585), Skuttle (#000-0448-003) and Air Bear (248713-103). Match the part number printed on your current filter.

5-inch vs 1-inch

Can I use a 4-inch filter instead of a 5-inch?

No. Use the filter depth your cabinet is built for. A 4-inch filter would not fill a 5-inch slot, so match the depth printed on your current filter.

Are 5-inch furnace filters better than 1-inch?

A 5-inch filter is not a drop-in upgrade for a 1-inch slot, because it needs a cabinet built for 5-inch filters. If your system already has a 5-inch cabinet, choose the MERV rating you need and match the part number on your current filter.
