20 x 2.5 Inch Carbon Filters
Carbon filters in the 20 x 2.5 inch size are common in undersink and multi-stage point-of-use systems — and carbon is the right media when your concern goes beyond sediment to taste, odor, and specific chemical contaminants.
Shop by what you need to reduce:
- Basic chlorine, taste & odor — Pentek EP, RFC, C1, and GAC cartridges handle standard municipal chlorine reduction and general taste improvement. Good for most city water supplies.
- Broader chemical reduction — Pentek CBC, CFB, CHLORPLUS, and FLOPLUS carbon block cartridges provide deeper reduction of chlorine byproducts, VOCs, and organic compounds.
- Lead reduction — USWF coconut shell carbon block cartridges with lead-specific media for households with older plumbing or elevated lead concerns.
- Chloramine reduction — USWF and KX Technologies MatrikX cartridges using catalytic or advanced carbon media, for municipalities that use chloramine rather than chlorine as a disinfectant.
All cartridges fit standard 20 x 2.5 inch housings. Prices range from $15 to $70 depending on media type and contaminant target. Not sure what your water contains? Call 1-800-277-3458.
